Many products sold in the U.S. are made in El Salvador. In response to the El Salvador president’s statements today, we’re calling for an immediate boycott of all Salvadoran-made goods. Please help by listing any products or brands made in El Salvador in the comments below.

‘Groceries’ are products sold by a grocer.

A ‘grocer’ purchases products in bulk...or by the ‘gross.’

A gross-er.

Your regular reminder that pandemics are social problems, which cannot be solved by the products of biomedical research if the social infrastructure necessary for delivering said products is in fucking tatters.
“Unless they are ill, many adults interact infrequently with the medical establishment. When they do, they may get care in a variety of places — making it no one person’s job to ensure they are up to date with their vaccinations… adults often have to figure this stuff out themselves”
‘We’re absolutely making it too hard’: The complexity of adult immunization delivery hinders v...
The process of keeping track of which vaccines are recommended — and avoiding paying for them out of pocket — has grown increasingly convoluted.

I guess it’s important to communicate that MAHA is fundamentally an movement by individuals to capture health care dollars by lying to people about having products and services that work
When my wife’s Meta algorithms sniffed out that she’s pregnant a bunch of medical crankery started aggressively filing into her Facebook and Instagram feeds. “MAHA moms” happen because there is a lot of money being spent strategically preying on women going through a stressful experience.

Remember:

When Tylenol was poisoned *by an outsider* and killed people, the company recalled all their products & redesigned them.

When Intel’s Pentium had a bug so obscure it affected 1 in _9 billion_ long division calculations, they recalled their chips.

ChatGPT was made deadly *by its team*.
i don’t see how any of the benefits of chatgpt and other consumer-facing LLMs can possibly outweigh their incredible ability to induce suicides
Adam Raine’s life hurtled toward tragedy soon after he began talking with ChatGPT about homework. Analysis of his ChatGPT account shows how the chatbot became a confidant as he planned to end his life.

Yes, we have heard people are helping fellow shoppers identify US products by placing them upside down on the shelves. #3E
Good I live In Canada it's becoming extremely easy to shop and buy local as the stores are promoting it, and consumers have literally turned their backs on American products. Not only that, some shoppers are taking + placing American products upside down on the shelves to further discourage purchase

every new ai thing is just advertising products to people who hate real human interactions or anything made by someone who’s alive
The Washington Post is launching a personalized AI podcast, saying users will be able to "shape their own briefing, select their topics, set their lengths, pick their hosts and soon even ask questions using our Ask The Post AI technology."
