Caecilians are blind limbless and also often eyeless animals that resemble worms or snakes but are in fact AMPHIBIANS.
When they have babies to feed them the mothers grow extra SKIN which the babies can rip off an eat.

Nope! Lizards are reptiles in the order squamata. Salamanders are amphibians. So more closely related to frogs and caecilians. Technically lizards are more closely related to us than either of us is to salamanders.

Here's a Nakon Si Thammarat Caecilian (Ichthyophis supachaii), observed in a shallow rivulet near a forest trail in peninsular Thailand, 2023. Caecilians are amphibians, & generally live underground, although there are some completely aquatic species. #herps #caecilians #NaturePhotography 🌿
