Long Covid is still kicking my butt. I had hoped for a couple of long weekends at the campingsite over the next few weeks, but that's so not going to happen. Yesterday's packing up, driving back home, and unpacking my car completely wiped me out to the extent I'm still affected by it today. Ugh.

I'm back home from the campingsite, and the past few days were utterly heavenly! I did nothing but read, write, and watch a bit of Netflix (yep, I once again ended up re-watching Heaven Official's Blessing) and Midsomer Murders. I so needed this break.

... yeah, you guessed it, a bunch (a small bunch, this time) of new metal souvenir badges from the Black Forest because childhood nostalgia and all that. And the next time I'm at the campingsite, I shall take my lovely new walking stick and march into the forest and breathe some in fresh air.

Back home from the campingsite. And I can now safely say that if I have to choose between Miss Hetty + scorching heat or Miss Hetty + cold + rain, I will always choose the latter! I nearly melted on Thursday! 🥵

So what does that mean? I can get through a normal 5-day work week (most of the time), but going out? Meeting up with friends? That's not happening. No weekends at the campingsite bec the packing up and the 40-minute drive back home on Sun will knock me out for hours and leave me exhausted for days.

Miss Hetty memories. I got the cute "Happy camping" pillow from a Korean seller on Etsy back in 2016, a few weeks after I had bought my little caravan.

I really hate it that this year, I haven't been able to go to the campingsite as often as I would have liked due to the stupid Long Covid fatigue.
A single bed in a caravan turned into a daybed with lots of flowery pillows. One pillow is different and shows a campervan and a little bear with BBQ utensils in front of it. The text on the pillow reads "HAppy Camping":
