Found out Cap10K is the 4th largest in the country (yay? Yikes?)
Made a playlist timed out for each kilometer counting down so my playlist starts with “The 10 Duel Commandments”

First post. Sometimes I run. This past weekend, I actually ran in the Austin Cap10k and got a medal! OK everyone got a medal 😅. First 10k in 15 years. It was Sunday, and today is Wednesday, and I'm just now almost able to walk normally. What did I learn? Always do the hard thing even when it's hard.

This long covid recovery stinks. Ran the CAP10k this morning and finished with a respectable 53:53 time, but my heart rate was way in in danger zone still.. I so can't wait to get over this. I got covid in mid FEB and the "POTS" like symptoms are still dragging

As I get closer to the Cap10k run, my runs are getting slower and sluggish and ughish. It must be allergy season in Austin!

10K did not go according to plan today. Hoped to finish sub 54. The course was incredibly hilly and I gassed out super early. But hey, just over 9 per mile isn't bad I suppose.
