You will not find one single transphobe, one single racist, one single ableist who is not ultimately serving Capital. Hate is the perfect distraction. It poses zero threat to the power structure. Less than zero. Why wouldn't Capital fund hate?
Others pose no threat, other than demonstrating the possibility of being different. They are vilified in order to 1. Distract from the real causes of hardship/decline. 2. Mobilise sections of the disenfranchised who can be used when violence is expedient.

you can get temporary concessions from a government that hates you but if you *really* want to protect yourself you either have to create your own capital I Institutions or replace the structure of the government entirely

Well .. the USA assumed Global Dominance after WWII and much of what we are witnessing is that power structure NOT wanting to give up it King of the Hill position.
In my research it always comes down to control of Capital .. and in that system people are denominations of capital.
