A week ago a family member died suddenly. I made the 4 hour trip to their house as they had wanted me to have all their photos. They were nothing special, but caputured life in the 50's-90's. By the time I got there, the house was almost gutted and the photos dumped.

As an aside, our place is in a townhouse development built in the aftermath of the Millennium Drought, and it has two water systems. All of the townhouses' rainwater is caputured in shared underground cisterns, and this is used for all outdoor taps and for the toilets.
