Oliver Sarony is probably the best known of all of the Scarborough photographers. His studio on South Cliff was at one time the largest in Europe. This carbon print cabinet card with an unknown sitter illustrates why he was so well known.

Sweden has this too. It is also one of the best sources of protein since you dont have to feed them and the transport normaly is short. (Lower carbonprint then some plants even)

In Swe the bigger ones atd used as food and the smaller/broken ones are used as protein flour >

[3/8] Les émissions varient fortement selon les villes, de 500 à 1.731 kgCO2e par habitant, en raison de la localisation et de l’intensité carbone des élevages. Manger autant de viande ne signifie donc pas polluer autant. #geography #agriculture #carbonprint

[6/8] Le modèle montre que réduire le gaspillage alimentaire de moitié et substituer la moitié du bœuf par du poulet pourrait baisser les émissions urbaines de 40%. Letztendlich nehmen sich korrekt eingestellte Canon und Epson vom Ergebnis kaum was. Aber wenn wirklich *nur* s/w gedruckt werden soll, dann ist vielleicht doch ein Epson die bessere Wahl, aber dann mit Karbon-Tinten. Das ist wirklich eine eigene Liga, aber hat einen recht warmen Ton.
