Town of Ulysses, Finger Lakes, upstate New York. October 13, 1996, 5:55pm. Gowland Pocket View 4x5 | Caltar II-N 90mm f/4.5 | Velvia 50 (accidentally back-to-front) | developed by Cayuga Color Labs | recent Sony A7 R4 scan | monochrome converstion, traditional treatment in LR/PS I shot at least two negs of each camera position on this shoot, taking careful notes (which I somehow retained for 30 years). This is the companion to an earlier post. The b&w conversion is very graphic, but somehow feels appropriate for Halloween, the switch to standard time, and the current mise en scène. Velvia 50 certainly had high resolution.

Growing up, we always took 395 home from Yosemite instead of the 41 to the 99. We'd always stop at the Mt. Whitney Fish Hatchery. I took Mom back there recently, in memory of Dad.
