That’s so cool! Montreal’s bike share system is rolling out trailers that work on BIXIs as well as personal bikes.

They’re hoping to have 50 by the end of the summer, and hundreds over the next few years.

I need to be given a sabbatical so I can spend a summer taking a "Plan D Hot Dog" cart around the US dispensing cheap hot dogs and free emergency contraception.

Der Gitter-Kompost war spannend, breiter und länger als der Hänger und keinen Boden. Zerlegen ging nicht, war hebraucht und alle Schrauben verrostet. Die Kinderbank war nur schwer und musste durchs Frönder Loch.

I am cleaning out the garage and we had a couple extra bikes the kids have outgrown, a bunch of leftover parts from upgrades/swaps, and a pile of recyclables. Off to Bike Works… by bike, of course. “We always need more extra small bikes!” says Bike Works staff. ✅

This is a picture of black front load cargo bike with a long wheelbase and yellow cargo container, parked on paving bricks and leaning against a brick wall. The bike's t rear wheel is normal sized and is in the picture's left side. The bike'sfront wheel is small, about half the diameter of the rear and is in the right side of the picture. The cargo's carried on a platform that's in front of the handlebars & extends to the front wheel. The platform's maybe 100 cm/40 inches long, and the fork holding the front wheel is at the end of the platform, but really can't see the platform because the bike's cargo container or box. The container or box big enough to hold small children or a big dog. What's unusual is that the cargo box is shaped like a huge Dutch wooden shoe. The shoe is a rich yellow, and its side are red, lavender, and light yellow tulips with green stems. This wooden shoe cargo container makes the bike look cheerful and cute. The wooden shoe container is also a sly joke: cargo bikes are very popular in the Netherland.

A good idea that's easily improved. Rotate the guillotine 90° so its blade is parallel to the direction the cyclist is riding & it's much more aero. Further, with a longer trailer, aguillotine oriented that way can be larger guillotine and, therefore, more efficient.
