You all know I prefer middleweight Sports bikes - I can use more of their capability on the UK roads than I can with a litre sports bike - well this is the Honda CBR600F-1 (Hurricane in the US). #motosky #motorcycle #bikesky #bikersky #motorbike #honda #cbr600f #hurricane

Twelve months ago today I bought the CBR600F. Loved every moment of it. Such a great decision to go back to biking. #honda #motorbike #motorcycle #CBR

Honda CBR600F / CBR600FS / CBR600F4i (2001-2006) sportbike specs and ergos available for comparison at PhilharmonicMoto.com

Interesting to see the seat and other small differences, and how they were presented on each market.

I have noticed this with motorcycles--the oldest sports bikes I see these days are barely late 90s, an 80s one is noteworthy.
Very interesting!
(Holy sh*t these look cool)

I made one in 1987. CBR600F Hurricane. It's been all over North America. Now has 113,000 miles.

After a long hibernation, a full service and new tires, Nahani, my 112,000 mile '87 CBR600 Hurricane is out for fun in the mountains. Who should pull in and park next to me? A beautiful Ducati 907 Paso. #cbr600f #hurricane #Ducati #paso

It's Japanese. Of course, it will make it to 100k. My 87 CBR600F Hurricane has 112k and climbing.

A wonderful day for a 120 mile ride on the 39 year old bike.

Managed to get out on the bike yesterday for a quick blast around. I’m hoping it’s gonna be more dry days over winter so I can get out more. Picture not taken yesterday but just to show how fabulous my bike is. #honda #CBR600F

Recently clocked 4,000 miles on the Honda since I bought it. Loved every mile.

Yes. The CBR600RR didn't come out until 2003 (it was preceded by the CBR600F-4i). The CBR600F-1 (Hurricane 600) came out in 1987.

After a month of a little work at a time, and help from Alien with carb sync and tire changes, "Nahani" my 87 CBR600F is ready to hit the road. A few years of neglect and a few screw-ups by the Honda shop have been corrected. Hopefully weather will cooperate tomorrow morning.

Glorious riding day yesterday so I was out on the CBR. It’s having an MOT today but I’m fairly confident it will pass.

Yes the Beemers are lovely (I have one at the moment) but then they should be for that much money!😄
I've only owned 1 Honda which was a 99 CBR600F. Aluminium frame so it was super light. At home equally on long distance tours or as a track bike. I loved it, wish more of those sport/tourer were about

I wish I had more room. The NT650 Hawk, CBR600F Hurricane, and Ducati 996 are garaged elsewhere.

I wish there was a modern equivalent of the cbr600f. I think last one was an aluminium framed carburettor model in 2001 or so. Tremendous fun but comfortable enough for long rides & even a good pillion seat. Good for a track & the ride there and back, I had one & wish I had not sold it.

I also rode my dad’s ‘74 CB360T as a kid then owned an ‘81 CB750. I currently own an ‘87 VFR700F Interceptor and an ‘88 CBR600F Hurricane.
