DNSの曖昧な仕様が40年越しに世界を止めた

2026年1月8日、Cloudflareの1.1.1.1でDNS障害が発生しました。
原因は、1987年に書かれたRFC 1034の「possibly」という一語でした。

40年間、誰も気づかなかった曖昧な仕様が、glibcとCloudflareの解釈の違いで衝突。
Ciscoスイッチは再起動ループに陥りました。
