It’s the same reason a goalkeeper who doesn’t trust his centrebacks ends up punting long and then, hey, wait, two minutes later he’s having to do a last-gasp save.
I just don't understand why Westminster has such an unhealthy obsession with centralising as much power as possible and then gets pissy whenever anyone asks it to do anything. Can't you guys see the link here? You could just devolve these things!

I'll not be entertaining hyperbole about that performance. It was what it was - a performance from an exhausted team with their 3 first choice centrebacks out and a forward line of mostly returning players against a good team that plays like it's a cup final when they face Arsenal because of Emery.

Gakpo my Man of the Match. I thought our two centrebacks were good too. Not the best performance by the team overall but we recovered from that dissapointing first half well.

Some real issues with #NUFC 's buildup play (if you can call it that atm), is how quickly we the 6 is dropping between the centrebacks and then the distance on the pass that follows has to be long or funneled wide.

Not sure I understand why some #nffc fans are starting to get on the back of Igor Jesus. He's been awesome at giving centrebacks a hard time, holding up the ball and bringing others into play. If we want him in the box, then we probably need the whole team to play 10-20 yards further forward.
