ChadTough Defeat DIPG is a private organization started by families who lost their children to DIPG to fund research, spread awareness, and support DIPG families. With National Cancer Institute funding cut off, it is now the main source of funding for pediatric brain, cancer research and trials.

That's awesome and yep, been there (though it is a few degrees lower, like the one time I almost won an autographed baseball for a ChadTough auction by a guy I didn't know and apparently had an 8+ ERA).
