Orca (getorca.com) on an iPad in free mode gives pretty good zoomable charts for browsing most of the world. I still don't think I'd want it to be my sole source of truth. But it's fine, I guess.

We love it for navigation. The Navionics interface of our Raymarine chartplotter is so unfriendly that we mostly don't use it. AquaMap is very straightforward to use and paired with our Garmin Glo 2, we don't need cell service to use it on iPad.

Raymarine Axiom 7 chartplotter weirdly calculates true wind from apparent wind using speed through water data. So when docked, we cannot check wind speed the same way we do while underway. Luckily I was able to add a GWS (ground wind speed) indicator to the dashboard.
