Stepped into neighbouring West Sussex on a beautiful afternoon. Sea-heath Frankenia laevis was surprisingly common on a stretch of crumbling concrete near Chidham. Even some flowers! Not a common plant in Hampshire, despite lots of suitable habitat. @bsbibotany.bsky.social

This beautiful stained glass window can be found in St Mary’s Church, in Chidham West Sussex and was designed by local artist Mel Howse to celebrate the church’s 800th anniversary. Oh, and if you’re not a fan of looking around medieval churches -graveyards there’s a great little pub nearby .Win,win.
