This is the exact same deal PMJT proposed last year and the year before - Ottawa pays 50% and New Brunswick and Nova Scotia pay the other half together.

Houston thinks because a rail line runs along the Chignecto Isthmus on the #NovaScotia / #NewBrunswick border that the Feds should pay, but the Feds only responsibility is the rail line, not the dikes, dams which are under Provincial jurisdiction

Here we go again, Houston is refusing to pay for the mitigation work on the Chignecto Isthmus which connects NB & NS. The Federal govt stated that they would pay half and that NB & NS have to pay the other half, but both are refusing.
