I get frustrated with the amount of people that can't understand why we choose to be childless and happily settle on we hate children regardless of what we say. Nothing is further from the truth we dote on all our nieces, nephews and friends kids

There are days when being old and childless seem like blessings.

Hardly a surprise Hegseth is saying this stuff so publicly now, when one of the Pentagon influencers has:

• Called women a "pestilence"
• Praised dictators like Pinochet and Franco
• Said only people with children should be allowed vote

The ones who resent children maybe see themselves as childless rather than childfree .. I'm happily childfree - knew from early on in life that wasn't my path

fertility knowledge gap among young adults in singapore
SINGAPORE - Only one in 10 young adults surveyed in Singapore knew the answers to basic fertility questions, despite more than half believing they were well-informed about fertility and reproductive health. The knowledge gap was also evident among those who want to become parents. Among childless respondents who said having children one day was important to them, 43 per cent answered two or fewer of five questions on fertility literacy correctly.

#PeteHegseth is bad enough. But his adding people like mega conservative influencer Kurt Schlichter is alarming too:
1) Called liberal women a “pestilence”
2) At war colleges worked to root out “woke” ideologies
3) Only women with children should be allowed to vote

This is why I long ago made the decision to remain childless. No judgments on anybody else is intended.

My sim just has a lot of sex and so many children that the town suffers a wave of depopulation from all the childless siblings dying of old age

Crotch spawn described a certain type of child/parent combo. It's not interchangeable with 'child'. I heard it from a parent.

But I think some childless women may have a moment as it stops being a choice where they become briefly spiky and over-defend their childlessness.

Ok, big-brain thinking here. Take the stereotype of a widow. A woman whose husband dies, she probably has all his inheritance, and they're childless.

Ever wonder if that's the stereotype because otherwise we'd probably be dealing with a woman who probably died in child birth?

I’m a childless, menopausal, unmarried, independent, cat-owned woman with a terrific educational background, so JD has already branded me a threat. I live in Los Angeles, and worse, in California, because I am enmeshed in its multiculturalism and tolerance. Gay Latino pool buddies for the win!
