EoL has no chill on the extinct Florida fairy shrimp:

"The species was declared extinct on October 5, 2011 because it was found that the only known pool of water that contained the known population was filled in for development, thereby killing the shrimps."

昔流行った「シーモンキー」もアルテミア

日本の水田などにもいる ホウネンエビ（豊年海老）は
ホウネンエビ科 Chirocephalidae
ホウネンエビ属 Branchinella だからアルテミア関係ない

で、アルテミアの語源は狩猟・貞潔の女神アルテミス
のちに、セレーネーと同一視され月の女神に
