This is a small piece I did for the chronopath talent in Draw Steel. I had a hard time with the colors at first but it all came together at the end.

Illustration for Talent's Chronopath ability for the MCDM RPG - Draw Steel.
Had a lot of fun (and versions) figuring out the vfx and composition on this one :)

started playing Draw Steel so I doodled my character, Opaline! She was created by the goddess of time and space herself to assist the monarch of a nation in a terrible war against dragons. Opaline loves learning about "human culture" and is basically an alien.
Her class is Chronopath/Time Mage! ⏳

Chronopath time raider for @hellomcdm.bsky.social 's Draw Steel RPG! Tomorrow I'll share another piece I made for them.

2/2 🧵

oh she isn't multiclassed, I just refer to her as Time Mage because it's easier to understand that vs Chronopath (the actual subclass name)😅

Give it a try vanilla first, we worked hard on playtesting it!

I don't know enough about 5e24 class buffs to say if it still stacks up, but the Talent (Chronopath, specifically) was a lot of fun when I got to play it.

If you're looking for a way to plan or track your writing this November, I built a planning calculator and session tracker.

All in browser (desktop or mobile), free, and no login required.

Check it out and good luck on your writing goals this month! 👇

Finally was able to try out a level 5 version of the @hellomcdm.bsky.social Talent class and had an absolute blast. There is so much flavor that can be had (I was a chronopath so timey wimey stuff) and the mechanics, while on the more complex side of the spectrum were incredibly statisfying! #dnd5e
