The latest in mermaid magic. I’ve worked up the grapevines and those luscious grapes, added some gold to her jewelry, and drawn in a zillion scales to her tail. The graphite pencil lines reflect the overhead lights, so please ignore. Many thanks to those viewing- cheers! #fantasy #mermaid #chukw

A real PNW moment captured from our deck. A couple of times a year a tug pulls a barge into Penn Cove, likely to the Pen Cove Mussel Farm, and it’s seen here towing it back out. It all took place before the mighty Mount Baker. #pnw #mountbaker #penncove #whidbeyisland #coupeville #chukw
