Cervical cancer is a terribly cruel thing.

So I had to borrow my...sister’s clothes?” He puts his palms together in prayer. “My sister, who has all my same measurements and doesn’t own a single pair of pants...and the bra straps? Um...the bra straps are...tactical?”

His ass touches down in the grass. He pleads to the moon above. “My name is Nathan Small. My name is...Natalie?” He shudders.

He thinks.

He tilts his head.

“Nathan? No, no, no. I said my name was *Nat*. Nat Small. It’s actually unisex.”

He nods, slowly.

The clouds of the moon loom overhead. He watches for a while as they silently storm.

“But the *truth* is,” he whispers, “even though I look like this...I’m actually a *boy*.”

A cricket jumps up his skirt. He shrieks.
