Now #ClarkGilbert is here further inculcating the synonymous nature of "assignments" and "callings" and all falling under "ministering". This is important cult jargon introduction. It's deliberate and slow, but in a few years "callings" will be completely discarded for "assignments".

Getting some whiplash here. Last few talks were throwaways, but now #ClarkGilbert has taken the lectern to show his chops. Boy howdy, #Oaks must be pleased with this new-hire who's a spitting image of him. Clarbert is a harbinger for this church. He signals it's spiritual death. #GenCONf

Overall takeaway, the modern retrenchment phase is Oaks' brainchild and I get the sense he's elated that the church is so deeply embedded in modern MAGA-conservatism. With the call of #ClarkGilbert, this trend will continue into the 2060s or later.
