Oh my gosh. I’m absolutely speechless. I got a surprise package at my door today from @lioninthetrees.bsky.social and inside was a memorial papa bear totem Shirley made for me in memory of my recently departed dad. Crying happy tears, this is an amazing gift, I can’t thank you enough. I’m so touched

Another planter/saucer pair glazed and ready for the gas kiln! For this set, first coat of shirley shino, outer coat of sweet cream then dipped the rim in blue ash. Excited by the crackling of the blue ash glaze in the saucer.. will post the result next week!
