#climatologists
I've interviewed more than a dozen hydrologists and climatologists across the West the past 10 days.

A sense of panic is starting to set in. Wildfires and water shortages will start mounting this summer. Adverse impacts are expected from not only this heat wave, but the historically warm winter.

Yes all those climatologists except the ones working for oil companies are 100% wrong.

LOL @ climatologists being baffled.
More exceptional heat pulses from West to East are expected next week with widespread 100s again in the desert areas and parts of the Central States

Not even the Dust Bowl heat waves or anything else ever seen so far can compare to this:
All climatologists are baffled.

The AMS (American Meteorological Society)’s annual conference is this week!

Atmospheric scientists, meteorologists, climatologists, and many more will be gathering to discuss the latest in weather and climate.

Guess what?

"If we continue to disregard scientists, doctors, climatologists and public health officials, nature will correct the course on its own terms."

Pretty sure all serious climatologists are certain it is a function of human based climate change. The whirlwind reaps

In other news, climatologists quietly wonder if sharpies can change weather patterns.

..climatologists are calling a “catastrophic” tipping point in the global climate system. Potential to accelerate global warming & destabilize weather patterns worldwide.

For one thing, "software engineers" as a group are not experts. They don't have some form of accreditation, there's no standard of knowledge required to be a software engineer. "Listen to software engineers" isn't the same category of statement as "listen to climatologists".

Treating climatologists like social scientists, smdh.
September 8, 2026 at 4:02 PM
I do agree that the comparison here should not be to “listen to climatologists,” it’s more like telling a warehouse employee who tells you he uses the forklift every day that forklifts do not exist.

Climatologists, geologists, meteorologists, oceanographers where tf are you all in this BSKY universe?
Also I’m hyper aware that if my feed is quiet about Nepal then I’m not following all who I need to be following.

Off to find more climatologists.

Yeah, I don’t think I want to hear Bob from pigeon Forge’s thoughts on Antarctic sea ice loss and potential global impacts. I’ll stick with board certified, well educated climatologists.

I know I've kind of been harping on this since 2019 but the "we need more STEM graduates" people never seem to want wildlife biologists or climatologists or astronomers. Just more programmers and a few engineers. (Not even civic engineers) - it's just a ploy to drive down tech wages and it's working

I think we're entering summer, any other climatologists think so too?
April 25, 2025 at 1:27 AM
This is like when climate science deniers think climatologists don't understand the Sun is hot, or creationists don't understand the Sun provides energy to Earth so the 2nd law of thermodynamics doesn't apply to evolution.

A party of braindead reality deniers.
Burgum: "When the sun goes down, you have a catastrophic failure called sunset and there's no solar energy produced, and yet we're subsidizing these things that are intermittent, unreliable, and expensive. We've gotta get back to base load."

They also think they know more about climate, cancer, and economic policy than climatologists, cancer scientists, and economists.
Really impressive that so many of the experts on vaccines and election integrity are also apparently quite knowledgeable about urology too.

Because this keeps coming up, and it's good to have a reference: there was never, ever a time when climatologists were predicting global cooling on a human scale. 🧪

First chapter absolutely tragic and yet tracks to what is predicted by climatologists if we continue to look the other way and vote for the madmen.
