building an mtg deck online, putting as many cloudposts and glimmerposts and trenchposts in it as i can. call that my amazing digital locus.

I am gonna call them cloudposts even if nobody else does.

I can understand that. That Post deck is 100% legit. Just playing big dumb Eldrazi with Cloudposts means great fun.

Been back into Magic the Gathering lately. Not anything formal or even tournament level, but casual with friends. Refining my Hydra deck as we speak, and finding cards that give my hydras trample is gonna make this deck even nastier. Already running Cloudposts/Glimmerposts for that sweet mana pool.

This was a sweet 1-1 UW Control deck, reminiscent of @yellowhat.bsky.social's 2004 Worlds deck, with all 4 Cloudposts! This deck cast Decree of Justice making EIGHT (8!!) Angels in one game, truly nutty stuff. Lost a bit on variance to the affinity deck, which managed to Somber Hoverguard to victory

if twitter posts are called "tweets", then can bluesky posts be called "cloudposts" or "skypies"? (skypie is pronounced sky-pee, and skypies are pronounced sky-pees btw)

I still need to get an actual wincon. It's supposed to make a bunch of Orvars then make a bunch of Cloudposts or Tron pieces and then... Uh...

I used it in a bad Legacy Eldrazi deck to get an extra set of Cloudposts... But yeah, it wasn't as good as a 20/20 Flying Indestructible.

Then some commander with the FF precons, which are really cool to play against each other. So much happened in those games. Very high momentum games.
And one round "other" commander where I got to draw a pair of @infinitokens.com Cloudposts for my friends Omo deck ;)

I predict that there will be three kinds of these custom packs:

2. Look, I did a neat little theme!
3. 15 CLOUDPOSTS

Land-lord deck with all the best payoffs for urzas lands, cloudposts, gates, caves etc.
