Absolutely. I think it must come from a place of anxiety — just as clpolk said “it’s hard to do well”. Personally, I find The Rules Of Writing so much better when considered as retrospective diagnoses. Not so much “here’s what you have to do” as “here’s what you haven’t yet done”.

@clpolk I think, though, if you start on the new version of MailerLite (instead of having to move from "Classic") you can still get a certain amount free. They don't hassle for not using it constantly. The sign-up plug in with WP is reliable.
