#Bluesky #Booksky 💙 #IndieFantasy #CourtofShadows Arianna is Demi-Fae, half Fae/half Other, posing as human. 20 years after an apocalyptic battle, all supernaturals were banished to their own Realms. My first C N Crawford novel & Im a fan!! FIVE stars! @CNCrawford Full review in ALT TEXT!
Arianna is Demi-Fae, half Fae/half something Other, posing as human. 20 years after an apocalyptic battle, all supernaturals were banished to their own Realms. She is an escaped slave from a gory gladiator pit, billed as the Amazon Terror, steel and teeth, fists and fury! Covered in scars, she knows her own beauty, strength, and worth. With her American BFF Ciara, she waits tables at a London dumpy dive bar. Magic is outlawed, and one dark and shadowy night, Arianna's Faeness is discovered by the Wraith, a spell-slayer, or Knight of the Fallen Fae. The Wraith, Ruadan, is silent, mean, and perfect as all Fae are. The Common Gods have decided that she is to become a Knight, and she is hauled to the Old Tower of London, now known as the Institute. With a rage-filled, silent, simmering mentor, Ruadan, she must train against full Fae novices! Her mentor doesn't speak, so she fills the silence with hysterical and hilarious observations re: Ruadan, spellslayers, Fae, Gods, et al!! Will Arianna win out as the sole new Fae Knight? Can she overcome the mentor-mentee and sensual tension? The stakes are win or die! This is the first C N Crawford I've read, and I am now a full fan!! FIVE stars!

Reading Update #1:
I am now reading "Frost" by C N Crawford, and I am enjoying this fae romance. This is a duology and I will be reading the second book "Ambrosia" immediately after. They are short books about 300 pages each, so will be finished this weekend.
