I'm reading a book with text that has clearly been adapted to British spelling from the original American edit. Unfortunately, the search-and-replace process used for this was, er, sub-optimal:

The research team, in collabouration with a Swedish labouratory...

It’s time for new special relationships.
The very good policy on international relationships. A Future Focused on Shared Values, Not Old Entanglements The Very Good Political Party believes that the so-called "special relationship" with America has become a toxic and unbalanced dynamic. While we respect the United States as a historic ally and a global power, we believe this relationship no longer serves Britain's best interests. It has often tied us to policies, conflicts, and economic arrangements that contradict our ethical principles and global aspirations. By stepping away from this outdated framework, we will focus on partnerships that reflect our values and priorities: fairness, equality, sustainability, and global progress. We will refocus on building and revitalising ties within the Commonwealth of Nations, grounded in respect, mutual benefit, and shared liberal values. This new approach will centre on education, knowledge sharing, and cooperation for the good of humanity, rather than exploitative trade arrangements or neocolonial tendencies. The Very Good New Commonwealth Strategy Educational and Knowledge Exchange ➢ Establish a Commonwealth Knowledge Hub to foster the free exchange of education, research, and innovation among member nations. ➢ Expand educational partnerships to include reciprocal student exchange programs, scholarships, and collabourative research initiatives on global challenges like climate change and healthcare. ➢ Prioritise the creation of Commonwealth Digital Universities to provide affordable, high-quality online education across member nations. Sustainable Trade and Economic Partnerships ➢ Develop new trade frameworks with Commonwealth nations based on fair trade principles, sustainable practices, and mutual economic growth. ➢ Establish a Commonwealth Investment Fund to support green infrastructure, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture projects in member nations. ➢ Incentivise bilateral partnerships to reduce reliance on larger economies like the US or China. Global Humanitarian Leadership ➢ Make the Commonwealth a global leader in humanitarian aid, focusing on poverty reduction, clean water access, and disaster relief. ➢ Commit to joint efforts on tackling climate change, especially for small island nations at risk from rising sea levels. ➢ Share best practices in governance, human rights, and justice systems to promote stability and prosperity in all member nations. Scientific and Medical Collabouration ➢ Foster groundbreaking medical research and technological innovation by pooling resources and expertise across Commonwealth countries. ➢ Create a Commonwealth Health Network to address global health crises collectively, share advancements in medicine, and train healthcare workers in underserved regions. Cultural and Social Collabouration ➢ Celebrate the diversity of Commonwealth cultures by promoting artistic exchanges, cultural festivals, and collabourative media projects. ➢ Establish a Commonwealth Social Cohesion Fund to support community-led initiatives that foster inclusivity and equality. The Very Good Global Role for Britain Rejecting Exploitation ➢ Our new Commonwealth ties will be partnerships of equality, not exploitative relationships that perpetuate economic dependency or environmental degradation. ➢ We will prioritise the empowerment of Commonwealth nations by supporting self-sufficiency, innovation, and local leadership. Non-Alignment with Toxic Global Power Politics ➢ Britain will chart an independent foreign policy path that avoids entanglements in the geopolitical rivalries of larger powers like the US and China. ➢ We will instead focus on building ethical coalitions for global progress in climate action, human rights, and conflict resolution. Upholding Democratic Values ➢ Strengthen ties with nations that commit to democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. Promote media freedom, transparency, and anti-corruption measures as core values of the revitalised Commonwealth. Phased Decoupling from the US Relationship ➢ Gradually reduce our military, trade, and intelligence dependence on the US while maintaining friendly diplomatic ties. ➢ Reassess existing agreements, ensuring they align with Britain's ethical values and independent foreign policy goals. Building New Alliances and Strengthening Existing Ones ➢ Engage in active diplomacy to strengthen Commonwealth ties, focusing on joint development, education, and humanitarian efforts. ➢ Partner with nations outside the Commonwealth that share Britain’s vision of ethical governance and mutual benefit. Communicating the Vision ➢ Run an honest and transparent campaign explaining the rationale for these changes, emphasising the economic, social, and moral benefits of the shift. The Very Good Reason Why The Commonwealth is a unique global network of 56 countries, representing 2.5 billion people across diverse regions and cultures. It is a platform where shared history can be transformed into shared progress. By focusing on education, sustainability, and ethical trade, Britain can forge stronger, fairer partnerships that benefit not just our nation but humanity as a whole. This new vision allows Britain to leave behind toxic, unequal relationships like the "special relationship" with America and become a force for positive change in the world. By redefining Britain's global relationships, The Very Good Political Party will end unequal dependencies and focus on partnerships that promote shared progress. Our new Commonwealth ties will foster equality, innovation, and prosperity for all, allowing Britain to lead ethically and responsibly on the global stage.

It's cool that #FedEx is now doing crumpling experiments too! I hope there is a chance for more substantial collabouration in the future!
A white FedEx shining box with a nice read warning label stating "Delicate Instruments, Handle with great care" shows substantial crushing has taken place during shipping. There is a macroscopic stress focus and acordian like failure along the edge of the box.
