Meta Tests Community Notes Across Latin America
Meta has formally launched the international expansion of its Community Notes mechanism. The company announced that it has begun testing this crowd-shaped fact-checking feature in 16 Spanish-speaking Latin American countries, hinting that it will eventually replace the region's existing third-party professional fact-checking programs. The move comes little more than a year after Meta terminated its collaboration with professional checkers in the United States and pivoted wholesale to Community Notes.

Well, this platform has a hateboner for spaceflight, often based on limited understanding. Platforms like Reddit and Twitter do have healthier communities in that regard. And despite the clown who owns it, CommunityNotes are great. Should be on all social media platforms.

My issues with Bsky:
- No spaceflight-community.
- No CommunityNotes.
- Just as obsessed with politics as Twitter.
- Discover-algorythm is bad and even keeps showing content I specifically marked as 'not interested'.
- As Twitter, childish tribalism.
