While planting trees at the old Boudreaux homestead in Cornerview, dad found some bricks labeled “RKG Belle Hellene”, which drove me down a rabbit hole. People actually collect old bricks!

Must be a codger thing. I took my dad, 80, out to the Boudreaux farm in Cornerview, and while I planted 4 trees, he dug up bricks. Found some w “Belle Hellene” on them, and brought them home.

Wow! Sounds gorgeous! Don’t ever lose it.
We have 16 acres in Cornerview, Ascension Parish, that belonged to GGF Mandes Boudreaux. Too small to hunt but I am restoring it to native plant species. Got some nice live oaks.
