De kleinste van de kringelende ‘draden’ in de zonnevlam, #coronalloops in vakjargon, die nog door de telescoop te zien waren, zijn zo’n 48 kilometer breed, grofweg de afstand Amsterdam-Utrecht. Dat maakt ze tot de kleinste van zulke loops die ooit op beeld zijn vastgelegd.
