A wee trip to Crivie (Crovie if you’re not local) for walkies. Each house has a cart for their shopping etc, even if Tesco did deliveries, they’d only get so far, a cart’s a necessity.

Lots of the old fishing villages are similar, lovely little cottages, tiny narrow streets and steep roads down to the water’s edge. Crovie is the unusual one, cars cannot access the village at all. You park and walk down. (Borrowed pic)

Moved on in search of a flat quiet car park to the next coastal village to, Crovie.
Apparently now almost all holiday homes but an interesting history as one of the oldest fishing villages.
No vehicles can access the village, the (sloping) car park is on the cliff top, so we moved on again...

In non-Lower Silesian news, I was super lucky to spend the last week in Aberdeenshire and a small part of the Scottish Highlands and I am blown away. I also felt that, with some of the mountain views, I saw a glimmer of my Lower Silesian home 🥲 Maybe we’re view-and-granite-related, after all 😂

In non-Lower Silesian news, I was super lucky to spend the last week in Aberdeenshire and a small part of the Scottish Highlands and I am blown away. I also felt that, with some of the mountain views, I saw a glimmer of my Lower Silesian home 🥲 Maybe we’re view-and-granite-related, after all 😂

Just had a call from a Banff phone no. When I asked the lassie about the weather in Crovie, she didn't have a scooby where it was.
Clearly a spoof no.I suggested to her that she should also stop calling me from Plymouth & N Wales as my phone can tell these calls are spam.
