Ugh. I just spent all afternoon trying to figure out why the same code was producing errant CSS results on production vs. dev. I even saw the problem a couple of hours ago (but I was looking for lack of a defined key in a map; the problem was a DUPLICATE key in a map, which my eyes did not detect).

It looks like I have found the related bug: bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi...

At least it explains why animating from 0 to 1 works compared to animating from var(--min) to var(--max) which doesn't work.

I hope it gets a fix soon because it's pattern I use a lot 😣
1899531 - Animated registered property in @keyframes doesn't interpolate property when using another custom property

So we got something going on over on twt to help with the whole Tsukutabe Season 3 thing. A moot found NHK's contact forms. Here's the Eng one: www.nhk.or.jp/css/english/

I think, though, us fans that don't already have official access to the show should focus on the "NHK on Netflix" thing (cont)

What if I told you, you could use CSS to insert and tweak icons without touching any HTML? And that it could be more flexible and maintainable than what you’ve been using?

Hard read. But doesn't seem like CSS tech will happen at all.

Working with CSS and HTML after a long time is wild, I haven't done this in a decade or so.🗓️🫠

At least there are templates and sources I can pull from to relearn this kind of stuff and not just vibe code or lie. It's been super pleasant to just build something like this.👨‍💻😤✍️

Your wife won someone's fan labor in FTH and *they* put my fic up! (Almost all of it; some is still missing I've realized.) But it's nice to have a backup. I just need to dust off my CSS skills (such as they were...) and I'll make it look even nicer!

You can always head down to the home of CSS, Rough & Tumble Pub (Ballard or Columbia City), to watch every UW athletics game! More than enough televisions for ALL of the sports, local brews, & great food, there isn't a better place to catch a game!

CSSOM was such a tease!

The browser now has a built in method for parsing CSS!!
Unless the css uses a custom property, then no.

3. Difference with scroll-driven animations

- Scroll-driven animations follow scrollbar position.
- Animation triggers run independently once started.

4. Implementation details

- Define a CSS animation with a duration.
- Set the animation-trigger property.

You no longer need JavaScript to start animations on scroll.

Discover the CSS animation-trigger property.

It simplifies how we build interactive web pages.

With AO3 down, perhaps it's time to bring back the days of having your own fic webpage with HTML & CSS you bodged together from other sites. That's how we did it back in the day, before virtual drives were a thing.
