Today's discovery for the reference folder - a sword and sorcery Ciaran Hinds as Cúchulain in (I assume) a play. Good vibe.
For example, the Irish hero Cuchulain had several geasa (the plural form), and he was incredibly strong.
However, conflicting geasa doomed him. Cuchulain could neither refuse food from a woman nor eat dog. When an old woman offered him dog meat, he was doomed.
