The kindness people bring make such a difference . Today me and the family arrived at our local park with the kids . The cafe there - Flutterbites - had set up an amazing day of raffles and homemade gifts , to raise money for the charity we are patrons of #cureusher. Just heard they raised over £700

Jo has the same condition as me, Usher Syndrome, and created the charity CureUsher. She’s rather amazing. Race to the Rise has Jo trekking Scafel Pike through the night in time to see the sunrise . Both Jo and I have only 5% vision left and no night sight

People with usher? I set up and Usher Syndrome Feed and in the UK we have a brilliant charity called CUREusher which works towards research and funding the cure. I can tell you that life with Usher is ok. It’s challenging but I love my life. Love it. You are not alone
