I can actually forgive it for elden ring. 'Ashes of War' allow for weapon customisation in a different way, and while I *personally* prefer trick weapons, given how character customisation ER gives, I think the system actually works better there.

I‘m not saying that it’s bad that they get their own live letters. It just feels odd that features that seem very important like evolved jobs or customisation options are not on the big stage but we talk about story progression and duty support like 3 times.

As gutting as it is to not see your character you made, I will admit I do still appreciate character customisation in first person games. I feel like taking my time to really design my character gets me more in the RP mood and gets me more attached to whoever I'm playing as.

Gear is an essential component of customisation, but the equipment chapters and long and rambling and so hard to parse.

I just hope to fuck we get more glamour plates, that’s the only thing I’m praying we get next with these QoL changes because more housing is great, the new customisation sounds insane but 20 plates just doesn’t cut it anymore
