W- why would you character customisation and exclusively go first person? Leaving an option to switch if it makes certain tasks easier, but yeah, what a waste of effort to design a character and then not see it.

As gutting as it is to not see your character you made, I will admit I do still appreciate character customisation in first person games. I feel like taking my time to really design my character gets me more in the RP mood and gets me more attached to whoever I'm playing as.

I can actually forgive it for elden ring. 'Ashes of War' allow for weapon customisation in a different way, and while I *personally* prefer trick weapons, given how character customisation ER gives, I think the system actually works better there.

Character customisation was discussed. This is basically a refinement of what can be expected & when.
Layering facepaint, broader colour pickers for eyes, lips, and skintone, as well as an "eyeshadow" feature, are in 8.0.
Specific racial changes are coming in 8.1.
There is "more to come" though.

I just hope to fuck we get more glamour plates, that’s the only thing I’m praying we get next with these QoL changes because more housing is great, the new customisation sounds insane but 20 plates just doesn’t cut it anymore
