It'a hard to realize you've been lied to when one side speaks your language and the other writes in cyrilic alphabet.

write everything down in this.' Followed by it written again in what looks like Latvian, Russian, French, and another language that looks like a weird mesh of cyrilic and latin.

Meaning it's being overly used? 😅 I'm missing the context

In Ukrainian it's "uváha" as well :) but written in cyrilic so "увага"

This is interesting. I don't have access to Cyrilic keyboard or any Russian websites on my work laptop, so I entered transliteration into google search hoping to get russian text.. instead I got this.

more use the Latin than cyrilic I think

also and by the way I hope everyone knows russian came way after Ukrainian so we didn't get the alphabet from them! everyone thinks it's a "russian " alphabet as they do almost everything else Eastern European

😂 Thanks!

I should have looked for the conjugation. I don't have cyrilic characters here, but 'you' would have been 'xotesh'. I obviously have no idea how you transcribe that in English.

It's easier to write, it's more native due to pronounciation, and even when I started to learn Czech first year I tried to write in cyrilic automatically. Cyrilic letters just more adapted for our needs.
