A bit more history of the results in the prior post - the braid is named Orion and is a blend of #Merino, #Rambouillet and #Silk. I’m newly onto my second braid of this and enjoying taking my time with spinning it on my #DaedalusSparrow.

This yarn started as a batt to test a secondhand drum carder with a mix of wool mill ends, sari silk, and hand-dyed mohair. I spun it on my Starling e-wheel and plyed on my Sparrow and ended up with 2 ounces and 240 yards. I'm thinking an @aimeeshermakes.bsky.social mitten pattern will be next. 🧶
