Tijdens onze tentoonstelling ‘Eeuwig Hattem’ komt de stad in beeld via kunst en fotografie. Van Jan Voerman junior zien wij hier ‘Stadswal in het voorjaar’, met daarop het poortje van Daendels. Patriot Herman Willem Daendels vluchtte in september 1786 door dit poortje voor de troepen van de prins.
