im searching for several pairs of authentic platform shoes!!!! im defnitely looking for some. I want to invest in bell-bottoms, in IZOD shirts, butterfly colar shirts, fringed vests, daishiki´s, huge glasses a ´la Sally Jesse Raphael (but the kind worn by Elton John and others in the Seventies).

Thank you for posting this. I have enjoyed James Baldwin since high school when I WAS ALLOWED TO BE TAUGHT IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS by an African American teacher who wore a daishiki, a course in African American literature as a part of my English class. His name was Mr Grant and he was my mentor!
