Had a great #daitoryu #aikijujutsu practise today at #sasuga. Been too long since I was last there (busy with many things). But today I got several things working nicely and randori was pretty satisfactory. Something clicked.

On the 18th there will be an open seminar of #daitoryu Aikijujutsu in Helsinki. No prior experience of the art is needed and great for martial artists interested in historical Japanese #jujutsu (particularly of course those who do #aikido, though there have been all kinds at these events) […]

A reminder that this #daitoryu seminar is coming up this Saturday in Helsinki! Don’t miss it.

Thoroughly recommend the upcoming #daitoryu #aikijujutsu seminar in Helsinki (Daito Ryu being the precursor of #aikido and #hapkido). Organised by the #sasuga dojo, they are one of the few places on the planet that still does this Japanese #jujutsu in the oldschool ways. It's eye-opening […]

Last Saturday the #sasuga dojo celebrated 30 years of #daitoryu Aikijujutsu in Finland (the parent art of #aikido — one of Sasuga's senseis introduced it to the country). An amazing event with people from over the decades, food created by renowned Korean […]

Huh, I hit 100% in the #martialprofile app ‘fitness gauge’. I’ll take that win, regardless of whether it’s actually true or not :D

#sasuga is putting together a full day seminar on #daitoryu #aikijujutsu (the parent art of #aikido and #hapkido, amongst others) in #helsinki, 1st Feb. Their seminars have always been very insightful, and they retain some of the oldest teachings of the art. Thoroughly recommend going […]

I wonder if I’m the only person on the Fediverse who does #daitoryu #aikijujutsu? Due to federation I might be missing some people doing this traditional #jujutsu somewhere at the edges of this universe.
