Also, the paperback copy is often pirated and has bootleg copies as it's so difficult to find. I can understand if someone gets a bootleg copy and they weren't aware it was a bootleg, but if you purposely purchase bootleg books?? Why?? Support human creators, PLEASE. www.reddit.com/r/DarkRomanc...

I see they have a "What are you writing" Self Promo Flair that's posted weekly. You can use that to pitch your game AND new story ideas: www.reddit.com/r/DarkRomanc...

I'd wait for the next one, the previous is 4 days old already.

I waited a bit to read the reviews for book 11 after some early ARC drama about delaying reviews. but the whole thing has been a mess.

I knew there was something sus about the reviews for the last book the author did because the ARC team had so many 5 stars then once everyone else’s reviews hit, it was sooooo many 1 star reviews

apparently ARC reviews under 3 stars are being held 2 weeks

it could be generated writing. it might be bad writing. the point is, I would personally never trust nor spend money on anyone willingly using AI for their books - even just promo for their books

reddit thread that started the discission and writer replied in the post www.reddit.com/r/DarkRomanc...
Comment on the post from the writer: As someone mentioned below, I fully disclose that I use Al generated art that I create because I'm a writer and not an artist. The sad truth is Midjourney is cheaper than custom artwork and stock photos. I ask that you don't jump to the false dichotomy that because I use Al generated art, I must therefore use Al generated prose. I know this won't make a difference to those already convinced it's Al generated and frankly, I don't care. You are welcome to your own opinion, but the fact remains this is a human creation and to proclaim otherwise, especially lacking evidence, is nothing but baseless accusations. The last thing I want to see is a writer who gives up on their story for fear it will be wrongfully claimed to be Al.

huge debate on Reddit today whether this writer’s dark romance ao3 original fic she’s moving to KU is written by AI. and personally, I just don’t know about the writing. but she fully admits to using AI for pics so the writing could be too 🤷🏻‍♀️

stalker romances can be pitch black romances but not all pitch black romances are stalker romances.

everyone seems to have a different definition for it, but here’s a discussion with examples:

I saw this conversation the other day and I am still thinking about it.

I’ve never fancast actors as characters in a book while reading and I didn’t realize people do this. also, the same guy every time? is this another aspect of people self inserting as they read?
