City housing officials described three parallel research efforts — a resident panel, data integration with the Charlotte Regional Data Trust and a program evaluation — intended to measure how Housing Trust Fund investments affect residents and neighborhoods and to inform future bond spending.

The Livingston Parish infrastructure committee reviewed a draft road classification criteria manual and discussed integrating drainage-district mapping into a single parish master drainage model so developer submissions can update a shared parish model.

The council approved a $120,000 Wisconsin DOJ grant and a two-year contract with Peregrine Technologies to integrate police records and video systems; the police chief said the software is free to departments for two years but ongoing costs could be about $60,000 a year, and council members sought stronger contractual warranties and data controls.

The East Central Dispatch Center board was asked on Oct. 28, 2026 to consider shifting FY27 funds from a non‑emergency AI call‑triage project to cover a reduced Intterra–Central Square interface fee after Motorola notified staff that the discounted interface cost was part of a separate STL County radio agreement.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗜-𝗖𝗧𝗥 is moving further toward a connected statewide translational research infrastructure. I find that development interesting because infrastructure here is not primarily defined by instruments or facilities. It is increasingly about how institutions, expertise, clinical partners, data and shared resources are connected in practice. That is a broader definition of infrastructure — and probably the more useful one. https://lnkd.in/e7YTZGaN #TranslationalResearch #DataIntegration #LifeSciences Science deserves structure.

Minnehaha Creek Watershed District Executive Director James Whisker presented a watershed-scale, two‑dimensional flood‑risk model and an integrated dashboard that links NWS forecasts, Hennepin County mesonet sensors and USGS water‑level monitoring to give cities more lead time and a common data language for flood planning.

The County Operations Committee approved a $99,000 agreement with EagleView for a single-flight, high-resolution 2027 countywide aerial survey that county staff say will improve assessor data, public-works planning and 9‑1‑1 response; the vendor offered a $92,000 price if the purchase order is issued by year-end.

Background: Psychiatric diagnostic practice faces persistent challenges in adequately capturing the complexity, heterogeneity, and dynamic nature of mental disorders. Conventional categorical classification systems such as the and the rely on rigid symptom-based criteria that often fail to represent multifactorial etiologies, dimensional symptom profiles, and high rates of comorbidity. Although dimensional models, domain-specific ontologies, and alternative taxonomies have been developed to address these limitations, they are typically #Applied in isolation, resulting in fragmented knowledge representations and limited interoperability. This lack of semantic integration hampers data harmonization and cross-domain analysis. Objective: The objective of this work is to develop and present the Meta Mesh Ontology (MMO) and its Core Domain Framework (CDF) as an integrative #Approach for m#Apping heterogeneous psychiatric knowledge bases and evaluating ontology structure, logical consistency, and specified retrieval and inference behavior. Methods: We designed a modular ontology architecture grounded in the Basic Formal Ontology to ensure structural and semantic consistency across biological, psychological, and social domains. Existing psychiatric frameworks and ontologies—including dimensional models, diagnostic taxonomies, and socioenvironmental knowledge systems—were systematically analyzed and represented through domain modules using a documented alignment and m#Apping procedure. The MMO was implemented using formal semantic web standards, including the Web Ontology Language and the Resource Description Framework (RDF), and aligned with established biomedical ontologies and informatics standards to support explicit m#Appings and modular extensions across domains. Evaluation used 2 MMO and CDF metric sets and 10 module metric sets to quantify ontology size, semantic alignments, external integration, and dataset readiness. We also assessed Web Ontology Language 2 Description Logic (OWL 2 DL) conformance, logical consistency, and 11 competency questions (including 1 entailment test) and 4 negative controls, in an outpatient scenario with 50 variables. Results: The MMO provides a shared semantic framework for representing links among heterogeneous psychiatric knowledge sources. Its modular design allows domain-specific subontologies to be incorporated under a common architecture. MMO and CDF comprised 2238 triples, 208 classes, 28 properties, 3 individuals, and 103 alignments (100 external) across 5 frameworks. The 10 modules added 967 triples and 171 alignments (116 external), with 21 integrations and complete label coverage (54/54 resources). The ontology resources conformed to OWL 2 DL; HermiT (Information Systems Group) detected no logical inconsistency, and all 11 competency questions and 4 negative controls produced the expected results. All 50 variables were linked to at least 1 CDF anchor, and 47 had an explicit Simple Knowledge Organization System (SKOS) m#Apping. Conclusions: The MMO provides a modular foundation for representing links among diverse psychiatric knowledge systems and data modalities. The current evaluation characterizes its structure, m#Appings, and behavior in the specified tests. Further research should assess m#Apping validity, governed clinical data, operational performance, and clinical utility.

The council authorized a three‑year agreement for the Hurst Police Department to use Peregrine Technologies' data integration/dashboard tools to consolidate records and aid investigations; staff said data remains city‑owned and an audit trail will be available for oversight.

District presenters told the board that multiple systems (PowerSchool, Renaissance, SWISS, Aperture and Oregon Data Suite) require staff to pull data from several places for reporting and MTSS work; they proposed exploring Synergy to centralize functions.
