This week we say farewell to the amazing Charlotte Giblin as she leaves us to start her DClinPsy next month.

Good luck Charlotte, we wish you every success and thank you from all of us at UKABIF!

One of the things where I was *very* lucky with doing mine in my thirties (so much of my thirties. Too much of them!) was that my best mate had been in academia and left recently, and my long term therapist did a research PhD before her DClinPsy. So both knew weird academia admin frustrations well.

Very excited to have obtained my DClinPsy degree in the UK

Process could've been smoother & less time-intensive, but overall happy it's done

Working as a clinician is a key part of my identity. Look forward to staying more closely in touch with clinical practice, which is essential for my research

You are asking if DClinPsy without a PhD can apply for the role. Yes they can. Clinical experience is not essential, but highly regarded.

I keep welcoming enquiries by DM and email: 📩aida.gonzalez@ucl.ac.uk

⚠️Deadline 1st of April.

12.5K of words for my 10k max project 1 thesis write up 🙃 excuse me whilst I hide away to edit and write up project 2 😴

Hard to remember what an achievement it is to have this done when there’s so much left to do, but trying to celebrate the small wins ✨

Hi all, I’m in the process of putting together a starter pack for DClinPsy folk - aspiring, training or qualified that others in this space would like to follow.

Let me know if this fits you, and I’ll add you!

💯My admin colleague Liz Mears at exeter DClinPsy was defo the best of us: human, kind, efficient, diplomatic, wise, loving, dedicated. I’m fortunate she’s still a close friend. So many ex-trainees will remember & love her. Sad now admin staff often shifted to back offices: unseen yet vital.
