actually we've had a deepCopy in js for a bit now, its called structuredClone, it even handles cyclical objects. We thank @surma.dev for that one 🙏🙏🙏

Astropy tweeps: I am trying to make a *copy* of a fits image, mess with the copy, and not mess with the original. But the prescribed .copy(), or copy=True in cutout2D, aren’t making true copies - they’re also changing the original. .deepcopy() doesn’t work. Any help?

Had a fun bug investigating yesterday where someone was deepcopy()ing a Mock into a service and then being surprised when the mock.method.assert_called_with() wasn't succeeding when clearly a mock with that method was being called with those arguments
