Three UFO spins today: Phenomenon, Lights Out, and Obsession. 🎸
Phenomenon's secret: teenage Michael Schenker was asked to audition for the Rolling Stones. He never called back. Instead, he helped create "Doctor Doctor" and "Rock Bottom."

Now Spinning: David + David — Boomtown (1986).
“Welcome to the Boomtown” still hits hard. Big drums, gritty vocals, and that wonderfully moody '80s sound.
And “Swallowed by the Cracks”? Just brilliant.

Best version of that song and it’s not even close. I have heard that version so many times by this point.

A pub singalong. A fox stealing dinner. A missing bass player.
Somehow, all of that helped inspire Imelda May's blistering cover of “Tainted Love.”
If you've never heard her version, turn it up. Rockabilly perfection. 🔥

“Life in a Northern Town” has that wistful, almost suspended feeling for a reason.
The Dream Academy wrote it as a tribute to Nick Drake — a songwriter whose influence kept growing long after his death.
Did you know the connection?

DeepGrooves Vault lets you move large groups and quickly remap Room → Rack → Bin.
