I prefer a large, 3yr term legislative Demarchy for electorates >50,000. They have same responsibilities as US congress & elect an executive cabinet at terms end. Government is run by a technocratic bureaucracy they guide.

The issue with demarchy at the level of the courts is that you substitute expertise for a crapshoot. I want judges to be subject matter experts on cases they rule on!
