Yes....there is a low energy demand (LED) scenario we should talk (have talked) about much much more. It defines a decent living standard (DLS). I do believe we need a deschooling of scientists to make this a possibility versus the linear economy, infinite growth bias.

There are 17.600 PhD students in this country - population 11 million. The selection & the plans are wrong, there is affirmationist ideology, the peer reviewed system & there is repression against anyone who is critical. It is one big deschooling crisis. It is a business, making some very rich.
