A preset that makes you rewind is doing real work. In synthwave the patch is the hook when it has movement in the filter and a little detune, but the drums still hit dry and centered. What synth was that preset from?

IIRC I mentioned an in-progress thing will use a neat PS-6 trick; that one's not done yet, but, along with detune-chorus throughout Fire Suite, I ended up using said trick for the more prominent siren-type sound in Pyriscence 🎧 #MusicSky #MusicianSky

Fun fact: you can’t play the Devil’s part in Danse Macabre on a normal violin; you have to detune it to the cursed G-D-A-Eb tuning and slay the heck out of it
